You must be registered as a paid attendee (register as an attendee here) of Fire In The East 2018 first, before you register for a tournament.

Friday L’Art de la Guerre Tournament

L’Art de la Guerre (ADLG) is a set of rules for miniatures (now in its third edition) that allows you to fight battles ranging from early Antiquity (3000 BC) to the end of the Middle-ages (1500 AD).

A three round tournament will be held on Friday, June 8th.

The tournament will be an Open Tournament.
Any 100AP army listed in the army lists for ADLG may be used.
All armies must be 15mm. Loaner armies will be available
Please bring your own drop cloth and terrain.
You must pre-register for this tournament or sign up by 12:30pm so match ups can be arranged.

The rounds will be as follows:

02:30pm
04:00pm

Saturday – Warhammer 40k Tournament

Recreate the brutal clash of 41st Millennium warfare in tabletop games of strategy and luck.

Battle-forged army with a maximum of 3 detachments – 1,750 Points
Players should attempt to have all models in their army WYSIWYG.
Some proxy units are allowed but must be the same base/size and must be clearly distinguishable from other models (e.g., a devastator squad modeled with Lascannons could be proxied for a squad equipped with Plasma cannons, however you could not proxy half as Plasma cannons and the rest as Lascannons).
The event coordinator may disallow proxy units at their discretion.
Forge World units are allowed but you must use the actual Forge World model, no proxies.
Painted models are not required, but a fully painted army will score a bonus point in each game.
Missions will be selected from the Chapter Approved Eternal War missions.
All current index, codex, and FAQ rules will be utilized. Players must bring the appropriate index/codex for all units in their army.
All updates from the April FAQ will be used in the tournament including the datasheet limit (3 except troops/transports) as per the Organized events table and the Beta rules for Tactical Reserves and Battle Brothers.
Players must bring 5 copies of the army list to the tournament, one for the organizer, one for themselves and one for each opponent.

3 Rounds, 2 hours per round – 9:00am, 12:00pm & 3:00pm
Players must check in with the event organizer the morning of the event between 8:00am and 8:45am in the tournament area.
Check in early if you have any questions about proxy units or tournament details.

$25 Entry Fee paid to tournament organizer BEFORE tournament starts.
Prizes awarded to top finishers as well as Best Themed Army, Best Sportsmanship and others. All participants will receive some form of prize or gift voucher.

Scoring Details:
Primary Objectives – scored as per mission details in Chapter Approved
Secondary Objectives – score 1 point for each of the following: (replace any secondary objectives in the mission details)
— First strike (completely destroy a unit in the first turn)
— Slay the Warlord (standard rules)
— Line breaker (standard rules)
Tertiary Objective – select one objective from the list below at the start of the game, score 1 point for achieving this objective.
— Assassinate – kill three models with the character keyword
— Thin the herd – kill at least 50 models with the infantry keyword
— Monster slayer – kill three models with the monster keyword
— Demolition derby – kill three models with the vehicle keyword
— Extermination – completely destroy 6 or more units
Bonus – score 1 point if your army is completely painted and based. (not a painting competition but all models should be reasonably close to a table top standard; multiple colors, some shading/highlighting, gravel/grass on the base, etc.)

Saturday L’Art de la Guerre Tournament

A three round, 15mm, 200 AP army tournament will be held on Saturday, June 9th.

You must pre-register for this tournament or sign up by 09:30am so match ups can be arranged.
Players should check in with GM between 9:00am – 9:30am.
The rounds will be as follows:

01:30pm
04:30pm

The theme is “Roman Republic to Decline of the Empire”.

Prizes to be awarded for Best Sportsman, Best Roman General, and Best Barbarian General.
